How to build this blog 6: Static Pages and Grouping Related Posts
Static Pages
I want to have a few static pages to cover the main areas of interest of art and music.
The music page will have some information but primarily gather some of the feeds and embeddable widgets from my last.fm profile. This should help to explain the influences behind the songs. At the time of writing I haven’ listened to enough music on last.fm so all I can do is show some album covers, artists or a radio player.
The art page can also have a bit of info and relevant feeds from flickr using Joe Tan’s plugin.
Related Posts
I’d like to group posts together, especially these ones about building the blog so it time to get a Related Posts widget (developer blog). Just add tags to the posts and the plugin will match them up and show them at the bottom of the post. (BTW: Use the developer blog link for donations since at the time of writing there was a paypal error with decryption when trying to donate from Wordpress)
